- In order to be prepared both mentally and physically for any scenario at any moment.
- In order to build a healthy body both physically and physiologically, to ensure longevity and durability.
- We do not set out for a “6-pack” or “big guns”. We train hard and focussed on the tasks at hand. Aesthetic results are simply the positive bi-product.
HOW WE TRAIN
- Controlled chaos.
- Using a system of constantly evolving “cycles” that allow us to be complete and well rounded athletes.
- We lift heavy and we run far.
- We are comfortable with the uncomfortable.
- We are emotionless workers.
- There is a task to be done..... Do it.
ATTENDANCE
- We are NOT “occasional gym members”.
- CFTF athletes are fully dedicated and committed.
- We follow the schedule of the current fitness cycle in order to maximize our fullest potential and set ourselves up for success in a “worst case scenario”.
NUTRITION
- We do not sale or preach any trendy titled diets.
- There is not a “one size fits all” answer to proper nutrition.
- Some need to shed body fat.
- Some need to develop lean muscle tissue.
- We eat quality foods, in common sense quantities, at the correct times to achieve the needed outcomes for the individual.
COMBAT FITNESS TRAINING FACILITY works on the "Crawl-Walk-Run" philosophy used by the United States Military for training.
We have a three tiered program;
1) "6-Week Beginners Course"
2) "6-Week Basic Training Course"
3) "Operation of the Day"
In the time span of 12 weeks you can go from an average man or woman to being part of our "OP" program conducting daily workouts that your former self could never have fathomed.
Whether you are an every day citizen, a Law Enforcement / Public Safety Officer or a Military Operator, the variables of daily life can change with no warning. Routine is the enemy and our training addresses this issue. Training sessions at COMBAT FITNESS TRAINING FACILITY utilize a constantly varied “attack” on the body’s comfort levels by combining body-weight exercises, Olympic-weightlifting, cardiovascular endurance and mental agility.
OWNER'S BIO: SEAN DICKSON
Sean Dickson is a Birmingham, AL native who served in the United States Army for nine years attaining the rank of Sergeant First Class. He is a graduate of the U.S. Army's Airborne School and Ranger School. He was a Special Forces Medic with 3rd Group and a Modern Army Combatives Program, Level 3 Master Instructor.
Sean Dickson served in a Recon Scout Platoon with the 82ND Airborne Division during the Iraq invasion of 2003 as well as being a veteran of Afghanistan with 3RD Special Forces Group.
Qualifications include; CrossFit certified, Kettle Bell Concepts certified, National Academy of Sports Medicine Certified Personal Trainer, National Registered Emergency Medical Technician license, 2011 Death Race finisher.

ABOUT THE TRAINING FACILITY
COMBAT FITNESS TRAINING FACILITY is a 5,000 Sq. Ft. ware house with male and female changing rooms/showers for your convenience. There is over 2,000 Sq. Ft. of concrete outdoor space for those days that you cant bare to stay inside. We have 7 fully loaded Olympic lifting platforms, a 3,000 Sq. Ft. rubber floored exercise area for our workouts and YOGA sessions. Kettle bells of all weights, 6 Concept2 Rowers, climbing ropes, tires of all sizes and a pandora's box of surprise equipment to tweak your workouts.
